I wish there was a short way to go about explaining why #localfirst software principles are so fucking important.

Before people can understand why WHERE their data is is important, they have to understand WHY their data is important.

But before you can explain to people WHY their data is important, they have to understand WHAT data they're even generating.

Once people know what data they generate, and why that data is valuable, explaining why that data should be local FIRST should be easier.
