Kia ora @klasse_methode, I'm a caretaker of fediverse.party and I'd like to link to a page about Lauti's planned implementation of ActivityPub. An official announcement of the intention would be good, and recent post with updates on any progress made would be better. Can you suggest a good page to link to?

@strypey @klasse_methode having just met them all and discussed some of this stuff I can say things are quite early but exciting. If you want some URL source https://fosdem.org/2026/schedule/event/3QHALR-bonfire_building_modular_consentful_and_federated_social_networks/ mentions the situation. Lauti is starting the federation work in collaboration with @Bonfire, so they will use C2S to send the event from Lauti to bonfire and then Bonfire will supply the followable actor

That's a good way for the devs of existing software and services to dip their toes into federation. There are a few other general-purpose AP servers that can be used this way too. Emissary is designed for this ( @bandwagon), and I think Epicyon ( @bob?).

So C2S with @Bonfire is in testing phase right now. But we also will implement standalone server2server for event objects and do a more detailed announcement in the next couple of days.
