My beard is making a comeback. Feel dashing. Debonair. Rakish. A swashbuckling renegade hipster that all the people love and respect. But then..... Surprise-attacked by my hallway mirror. Oh no. My dad has come back to life and is haunting me. Only he looks terrible. Grey. Confused. Oh no it's me. 馃憤

I'm in a busy shopping centre. A familiar face catches my eye. "Huh, there's dad, what's he doing out here?"
We both smile & walk towards each other. I start to wave. He starts to wave.
I squint. WTF?
A mirror. I was walking over to chat with a mirror.

I've had a goatee since I was 17 (nearly 30 years). Shaved it off that one time as an experiment. Looked in the mirror and saw my Mum staring back at me. Didn't leave the house until it had grown back

Lol! I'm sure you are gorgeous but I'll lean into the grey for the moment. I'm hoping to one day achieve the look of 'wild old man who's lost his mind and has been found living in a cave up a mountain for 20 years'.
@TheBreadmonkey @oceanographer yarp, not be going up that path son, man in a cave up there. Not safe they says. The silver yeti they say, hurts the mind some. Not till youve got some grey yourself, and can handle a man with a toot.

It's fine it's not the first time. I know I look like that old goat. It's just every time the beard comes back it's quite a lot greyer than the last. 馃槀
