Great article on the lack of pickup sports for all ages BY DESIGN. Why the heck do we make everything into formal, gated, restricted, registered, tournament etc. whether for kids or adults? I'd love to be playing pick-up sports myself, and so would my kids, and those are the best memories of my childhood. It's a failure of our local towns to make a healthy community…
