Today, my first act of cleansing at Imbolc was to delete my Facebook and Messenger accounts. Meta will no longer have its fascist fingers in my online existence, while I continue living in this particular human body or afterwards.

@onepict I'm reading your excellent Digital Poppets article. Thank you.
@DavidBridger thank you, I did worry I was being a wee bit cheeky just sliding into your mentions, but your post did resonate. 😊
@onepict Please don't worry. I'm grateful. Just finished my first read of it, and now musing which of my friends to send it to. The timing of this doesn't escape me, now, very near the end of this life of mine and awaiting my next one. My goddess, The Morrigan, has plans for me in that next life, and knowledge I'll be bringing with me when I meet her for my time between times in the Otherworld will be considered. Your article and further work that might grow from it will be in my satchel.
@onepict A decision I have delayed for a long time because those places are where my connection exists with beloved family and friends in the craft, who are there and only there. It isn't triumph I feel today, but sadness.
@DavidBridger Yes, it is very hard to leave these networks.
It is also very isolating to choose to leave. When I left, family, friends and my communities were left behind.
All we can do is be the light and hope our chosen ones use the light as a guide to help them get free.
You're being a light right now. Thank you.
