#PennedPossibilities 916.1 — Your MC wakes up as a wolf (or if a wolf/werewolf, a rabbit/wererabbit), what do they do, how do they react?
As I've never written a shapeshifter-compatible fic, that'd be problematic!

@cstross No one can say Jum doesn't have survival instincts! ... Whether they're good ones is another question.
@Tuftears This is not the first time Tabs has pointed a gun at his head and issued threats, and he's still alive. (They've even been married to each other, and more than once: reincarnation weirds *everything*.)
Anyway, "wolves behaving weirdly" will definitely get her attention, and *she's* the biotechnology witch with a weakness for canines.

@cstross a human would presumably try to walk on two legs and collapse on the floor?
@Pionir I assume any plausible werewolf will have a full vulpine autonomic nervous system to handle stuff like balance and proprioception, so they're going to know they're not in human form right from the start. How bad the body dysmorphia/dysphoria will be is an open question …
