Maybe, if you consider feudalism and capitalism to be representative of European values.
But if not, i.e. if you consider the values of the many millions of European people, then a different picture may emerge, not perfect, but one of heroism, struggle, resistance, achievement, and victory against feudalism and capitalism.
Are we filling the glass, or emptying it? Because in the end we may need to drink from it 🙂
@aral to be fair, the only reason those values are European is because Europe ruthlessly worked to claim a quasi-monopoly on them. They do exist elsewhere in the world.
