Take Germany: two of our most visible right-wing/extremist politicians are unlikely personas: Jens Spahn (CDU) is homosexual and Alice Weidel (AfD) is homosexual, married to a Sri Lankan and does not live in Germany. There are still democratically governed alternatives (including Trinidad and Tobago, by the way!).
