Anyone who thinks Labour are on the side of renters when they are allowing private landlords a decade to bring their home up to a new Decent Homes Standard might think again

Clearly implementation cannot be immediate, there would always need to have been a transition time; but a decade?

Looks like Rachel Reeves (champion of landlords resisting the ground rent cap) was more successful this time in protecting profits for landlords for another 10 years.
