Then I realised the slur is not ‘American' - It's ‘Yank’. (Which is probably fairer to all the non-US Americans…)

@timbray @mapcar Unfortunately factually wrong, at least partially: “Nazi” was in fact introduced as a pejorative for “Nationalsozialist” in the German language, similar to “Sozi” for “Sozialist” which was then already in use.
