Told someone I'm doing exploratory statistics on my stone axe dataset. They thought I meant data dredging.
Actually I'm not measuring significance at all. I'm still at the early stage where I'm looking for structure in the material so I can reduce 90 axes to a few clearly defined categories. Later I will investigate how they relate to spatial spread and chronology.
