Saturday, ICE killed Alex Pretti. It was all over the news. Then in the evening, Apple CEO Tim Cook showed up at The White House to celebrate the release of the new Melania movie.
The Apple is rotten.

@randahl Shameful but not even a little bit surprising...this is a company that holds users hostage, blames the victims for any of their mistakes, routinely destroys evidence and attempts to distort reality telling users their own eyes and memories are lying to them...any of that sound familiar? Same beliefs and strategy as Trump, just with a larger vocabulary.
@randahl smiling in photos with a grapist.
@randahl Is there truth to the rumor that the Danish title of this movie is "Luder"?
@Eetschrijver you must be joking.
@randahl Okay, I admit it: I am. 😂
@randahl It's all about maintaining shareholder value, not morality. If Cook keeps his shares of Apple priced as high as possible, he can continue to borrow against them to satisfy his extravagant lifestyle. Just like all these billionaires do.
@randahl It indeed is. Therefore, I went for Jolla phone.
@randahl I accused Tim Cook of consorting with Leni Riefenstahl, but upon sober reflection, I do not believe that six women came forward to accuse Riefenstahl of using her power as a director to get away with sexual misconduct.
@randahl Not contradicting, but I consider it more important is that Apple is not handing out decryption keys like Microsoft does.
The Apple architecture (as of now) has been built better to withstand government intrusion. It's not perfect and the people are even less so.

So.
This is worse.
I do see how this is worse.
