@alexmdunne hah, didn't know you're following Leo and friends, too! Been a die-hard supporter for years now. Very cool.

2021 to 2023 restored a 50 y.o. PNW cruiser. Got deep into it. Caught up on 6 years of videos in 3 months....
@alexmdunne ah, I see - *you* were the one restoring the 50yo PNW cruiser - my bad. I initially thought that was how you were characterising the Tally Ho.
@lightweight correct, yes, sorry for the shorthand.
Bought a 40ft cruiser in 2021. Researching boats and boat restoration led me to TH videos online. There's so much craftsmen mastery by everyone in the those videos. But what I got most from them is that almost ANY boat, no matter how far gone, can be restored with enough vision, passion, and focus.
@alexmdunne it's a 110 year old (well it was when Leo started the reconstruction in 2020) Bristolian Gaff Cutter 馃槈 designed by Albert Strange, which won the 1927 Fastnet race, and is heading back to contest the 2027 Fastnet on the centenary of its previous victory!
@lightweight Yeah, I got that from watching all 242 videos...
@alexmdunne nice. My dad and I watched them together (from afar) every 2 weeks for several years until he died in 2024.
