What remains to be done, at a minimum.
Noem must be fired or impeached and removed from office.
Stephen Miller must be removed from office.
ICE must be abolished. No more money for DHS unless until ICE is dismantled.
DHS must be dissolved, broken into whatever smaller, necessary independent agencies are needed.

First thing though… they should stop murdering people in broad daylight.

@heidilifeldman As we fight for this, I would like to remind people these actions have costs. I lost nearly 10k in the last shutdown. I am a contractor, not a fed employee. I did not get made whole once everything reopened.
I called and told my Dem reps to do the shutdown.
A 90 day shutdown in ‘26 will bankrupt me.
Just remember this while we are all screaming about no more money for ICE.

The minimum must also include thorough investigation of the murders of Good, Pretti, and all other people killed or injured by ICE goons. The ICE stooges need to be prosecuted, given a trial, and punished for their inhumane treatment of #USA citizens.

in the long list of things where being able to say "i told you so" is little to no consolation, those of us who were saying that DHS was nothing but a fascist land grab when it was established are definitely not feeling consoled.
