As I continue hitting delete on the crap that is sliding right past spamassassin without a fuss, I have come to the conclusion that that there are simply too many web sites.
@jwz almost all my current spam helpfully features Kanji (?) characters in the subject line.
@happyborg @jwz I only speak one language. I filter based on ">75% not English".
Next, I want to filter based on age of domain names. I.e. less than 6 months old, you don't get to talk to me.
@jwz Sometimes I miss 1995, where you’d spend 15 minutes of your day checking out all the new websites, using Mosaic 0.9 because that ran off a floppy and thus went around the campuswide limit of 10 running Netscape instances.
And then another 15 minutes on the Rome labs snowball cam. Anyone remember that? ;)
Though the feeling usually goes away quickly.
