Ae, this reminds me of Dead Internet Theory, which was already a thing before the release of ChatGPT pushed #MOLE Training into mainstream awareness;

My theory is that the current cultural malaise is driven by the centralisation of taste-making. DataFarming algorithms on a handful of mega-platforms determine what most people see. Which pushes creators to tailor their work to be attractive to those algorithms, or risk being completely ignored.

With the escalating enshittification of legacy web search, one priority for the rejuvenation of culture is building portals that allow for more organic discovery, eg;
