Happy Birthday Robert Burns ✨🏴🥃 Here's a wee bit of O Aa The Airts. Its from Volume Three of the Scots Musical Museum under the titles "I Love My Jean" and was written by Burns for Jean Armour. Jean was the focus of no less than fourteen of Burns' works. The melody was by fiddler William Marshall, a player and composer born in Fochabers, who was in service to the Duke of Gordon. The melody is titled Miss Admiral Gordon’s Strathspey.
