Why has nobody made a laptop out of a #CommanderX16 motherboard yet?

@ben Seems like it shouldn't be too hard to make a retrocomputer in a laptop form factor, maybe using MNT Reform parts or something.
@freakazoid The official motherboard is a little large for a laptop, but there are other boards (OtterX16) that are more favorably sized.
@ben And no $54 tariff charge on the OtterX16, so I went ahead and ordered one.
@ben Well, I tried to order it, but Tindie is hanging on "Charging your credit card" and there's only so much effort I'm willing to go to to give other people money.
@ben Turns out the order actually went through, so now I have 2 pending charges and 4 declined charges. Fortunately I set a limit of $400 on that card so they can't charge me more than once. I love privacy.com so much. Or rather, it makes using credit cards online almost tolerable.
@ben And now I have two different orders and *everything is still in my cart*.
I hate technology so much.
