@ralfkraemer are you making a mastodon api client or will you support other types of AP servers like peertube or lemmy too?
@liaizon I wanna say the latter, but I‘m not prioritizing video uploads, and while Pixelfed, lemmy, friendica and pleroma are great projects, I think Mastodon is the strongest, in terms of adoption.
XMPP is of course also underrated, for IM etc., and peertube is definitely essential.
@ralfkraemer how far along are you? Have you looked at apps like @blorp yet that already support Lemmy and Piefed APIs?

Core functionality is 80% done. My current dev build supports all major mastodon endpoints, and consumes Text, Image, Video, etc. from Mastodon, lemmy, pleroma, threads and pixelfed. I also have a working prototype for a PeerTube-based reels view.
I‘ve looked at Blorp, but it seems to be highly focused on microblogging, and looks like a mix of Tw@tter and a CMS. I‘m trying to build a broader Fediverse-entryway, to make EMEA less dependent on superpowers for communication.

@ralfkraemer wow thats amazing to hear! Especially the peertube view your working on, I would love love love to see that integrated in a first class text posting app where you click a tab and can start watching videos right away
