Prof Sam, cuddler of goats, I am hoping you can answer me a question. (Feel free to wait until office hours. Please do not go to any special trouble.) When one (me) hears “space debris” it creates tension and sometimes an involuntary glance upward, much like the mention of sunspots or sharks. How worried should one (me) be about getting Donnie DarKOed from something hurtling to earth? And would one sue the debris manufacturer or the nation of origin? Hypothetically, of course.

@britt Yeah, it's a long-running debate why UVic does not livestream their colloquium talks (at least, I heard a lot of people up at the observatory complaining about it). Sorry!
