I think the insidious thing that happened on the American center left post-MLK is that they dropped the economic part of MLKs messaging entirely and addressed civil rights expansion while letting wealth inequality skyrocket. And here we are. Going forward, we'll obviously have to address it all. #uspol

I love the idea of UBI...

But it is pointless without gov regulation to contain costs and prevent oligarch price controls. Without this, the wealthy will just suck up all the extra money.
