I find this news about the Kauai Coffee Company being forced out of business disturbing:

The leasing agreement described here is not uncommon with other farms.
If the people owning the land force the people working the land off of it, then we lose whatever that land was producing.
In this case, it's coffee. Whether you consider that a necessity is probably a point of personal taste.
But what happens when they start closing corn fields or chicken farms or...?
