Christ! Trying to move to a new Mastodon instance from a GoToSocial instance has been a humbling experience. I think I'm going to give up and stay with my #GoToSocial instance. It's just too frustrating to keep trying.

@zef I can't seem to complete the official way of moving an account. The Move Target URI keeps failing, even though I know it's entered correctly. I'm starting to think there might be a bug in the GoToSocial software.

@cmccullough ok. I only tried the opposite. That was also not flawless (I lost about 600 followers so will give it another shot in a few weeks when the cool down ends), but it could have been DoS protection at the gotosocial end.
