I just resumed using #1Password after several years of being away and also just started migrating my family from Bitwarden to 1Password Families.
I decided to move my family to 1Password because Bitwarden has gotten extraordinarily buggy. Based on past experience with 1Password, I thought it would be better.
I may have been wrong. In the short time since I've resumed using 1Password I've encountered a lot of significant issues.
I'm going to chronicle 1Password issues here in a running 馃У.

@jik Huh, our family has been seriously considering migrating in the opposite direction because we don't like some of the things 1Password has been doing and I've had good experience with Bitwarden at a coop where we use it in the obvious way. A thread about the reasons you migrated off Bitwarden would be welcome.
@timbray @jik I鈥檓 also curious if you鈥檙e encountering mostly client side issues or server side.
I鈥檝e been using Bitwarden clients against a self-hosted Vaultwarden server for years. I鈥檝e seen a few regressions in the clients, but overall have been very happy with it.
FWIW I鈥檝e never used Bitwarden鈥檚 cloud service or their self-hostable server, it鈥檚 a behemoth (esp compared to Vaultwarden) and I鈥檓 not a fan of their licensing terms.
