The Iranian activists and contacts use twitter. Yes, they could move, but they have bigger problems. How else do we hear from them?

About Europeans, Americans, and Brazilians, politicians and journalists specially, I agree.

@pait I hear you. Still, at some point, we must ask ourselves if "staying informed" has become a passive consumption of horror optimized for engagement rather than change.

For politicians and journalists in Europe, the US, or Brazil, staying on the platform feels less like a necessity and more like a convenience.
