hey remember that RAM that tested bad and that we removed from our laptop in january?
turns out memtest86+ has a mode that outputs the linux memmap kernel parameter one needs to mark the bad memory as reserved!
this param tells the kernel not to use these 8 bytes at address 0xa3195e670 for normal memory allocation
neat!
