Fun fact: Finns have a hard time getting their short stories translated to other languages, esp. in English, since our tradition of writing short stories is so different from many other countries. We either have very long short stories (sometimes bordering on novellas), or drabbles. Rarely something in between, which is the most common form of short stories elsewhere.
F.ex. I have written tons of short stories, but most are considered too long or too short to be accepted in many publications.
