Crepe ⭖
A software suite that manages your #cooperative #business with absolutely no org chart. Responsibilities are self-assigned and small enough to complete in a single part-time day.
No bosses, no CEO, no chief anything, and no titles. Just software designed to maximize the efficiency, impact, and income of contributors (both as a group and individually) in a highly pro-social, uncompromisingly cooperative culture.

I'm going to describe #Crepe ⭖ as management software for a technocratic flat economic entity. Roles would supercede titles. Roles would bundle necessary permissions, responsibilities, and considerations that typically go with a title, and the appropriate role would be assigned to a task. So if you take up a task, you also take up the role necessary for that task temporarily. In this way, anyone could participate in communications, management, or engineering, if they can do the specific task.

This would enable saying, for eg, "the CEO made the decision to pivot the business away from AI," and you could easily look up who did the task, "sign off on the pivot away from AI," to find out who the CEO was. Some days the CEO could be busy, and many people could be CEO simultaneously, as every title in the org is a role appropriate for the specific task.
Now task creation and assignment become interesting. #Crepe ⭖

But first I want to back up to the formation of such a cooperative because the founding of a company usually involves few people, and just one or two who really own the vision and mission, and they take on most of the risk, and so on, so they always want and deserve some kind of special treatment. #Crepe is not for these situations. A title-less (untitled?) uncompromisingly flat org structure requires a larger base of founders, and an unconventional origin. Firstly, the idea must be given away.
