Police used co-pilot to write an intelligence report to MPs, and it just made stuff up. Because of course it did, this is how AI works, it's a "yes, and" machine. It shouldn't be anywhere near the criminal justice system unless you want it reckoning-that-guys-name-sounds-criminal all over the place.

Anyone who ever thought it was sufficient to let AI write anything for them, let alone a report to Members of Parliament, is far too stupid to use the kind of authority he has wisely.
