I did think about putting the JPG image on my website embedded in the already available how to flash the image. Just worried about the text ThinkFreeBSD causing legal issues ?? Or do you think I'd be safe enough ?

@justine Good point. Both could be and issue with Lenovo and the foundation (unfortunately) but I can't see the difference between this and people using samples in songs or logo in picture in a paid magazine. Maybe just leave it floating around somewhere and a blog post how someone could put an image in their firmware.

You could do Think in OpenBSD spleen, with a puffy without any trouble but INAL.

As for an OpenBSD boot logo I did that before too. openbsd
