@rbreich because republicans all still believe it is possible to get in on the power consolidation they enabled. the idea "I supported it so I get a share"
but what they imagine can happen is at odds with reality. trump does not share power. neither will the next one.
they played it wrong. they voted on feelings against facts. and now they've got no money and a gestapo that will come for them whenever it wants.
like all members of any group, republicans are socialists on the inside.
What every US citizen can simply do NOW:
