Watching Martyn Littlewood play #Hytale on launch day.
So far, it looks like uncanny #Minecraft with the graphics from Hydroneer and Torchlight 2, with a thesis of "this is what Minecraft would be if it were made today."
I don't think it's an improvement overall, but I do feel compelled to play it and find out.
Why are there so many kinds of crafting table.
Why are dynamic lights on by default.
Why do you have to craft saplings instead of getting them from trees.
Why are the goblins so damn grotesque.
At least they've added an extra row to inventories, and I've seen blue trees on the map (there's a map!). And some of the tables are things I enjoy in modded Minecraft.
