ICYMI: In December, the @EUCommission has opened an infringement procedure against #Belgium for failing to correctly transpose the EU's #DrinkingWater Directive, which is supposed to protect human health by updating water quality standards and tackling pollutants, such as #EndocrineDisruptors and #microplastics.
Apparently, Belgium has failed to update its risk assessments for domestic distribution systems, and to make available mandatory information to the public. 馃
