We need to stop calling techlords like Mark Zuckerberg (and Tim Cook, et al) "cowards" for their nuzzling up to Trump.

@dangillmor Whatever you think, they support a democratically elected politician. It is not their job to be political. It is their job to rake in the most money possible to their companies. If handing the POTUS a gold mounted iphone glass or a FIFA peace price is the way to do it - they do it. Address the root cause of the problem, not the symptoms. 😑

Happy to say I've been boycotting Meta since I closed my fb account in 2013.
I'm sure they still make money from me somehow, but at least I've not cooperated with them. Similarly I never bought Apple products.
M$, Google and AI companies are harder to stay completely detached from.
