Awful Systems will be putting up and maintaining a list of open source software that is tainted with LLM code.

We plan to take initial listing cues from a static copy of OpenSlopWare. So a clean reboot acknowledging its inspiration.

We have already had *many* helpful suggestions for additional homework from concerned moderates, and we thank Dr King for his advice on concerned moderates. I'm sure commenters here will add many more homework suggestions, though nobody asked.

What we *really* need is a new name that's anywhere near as good as OpenSlopWare. Those suggestions, we would most welcome. Anyone got ideas that aren't actually profane? PromptFuckerCode(tm) is right out.

Disappointing Ditch of Slop

Abbreviated to DDoS, shared with Distributed Denial of Service, because: 1) that's what their crawlers do to small sites; 2) Tainting free software with slop is a kind of denial of service, and it's being done on a massive scale.

It's also so very disappointing to see otherwise smart-appearing people succumb to the delusion. Felt like "disappointing" would belong to the name.
