Hey #forkiverse people, and everyone else who has joined us recently!

You might be just learning about the thing that makes fediverse special, that it's made up of many communities spread across many servers running different platform.

Now, I won't bore anyone with how all that works, but here are two cool ways to visualize this.

- https://data.stefanbohacek.com/projects/fediverse lets you see which servers you are connected to (I made this one!)
- https://moderation-explorer.online helps you understand the shared responsibility of fediverse moderators

@stefan what's the best way to report an issue with the one you created?

As mine says I follow 0 accounts (see attached screenshot). I do have my account set to not show who I'm following, but it does report how many people are following me.

@stefan it is so interesting to see that I have ~3 connections per server and not single server goes above 16% of all the connections.

If nothing goes fundamentaly bad with the federation I shouldn't loose much at the same time.

Hasn't been a problem in the past, mainly because once you log in, all communication happens between your browser and your fediverse server.

This also nicely shows you how resilient the fediverse can be. In my case, if mastodon.social, the largest fediverse server, goes down, I can still interact with 80% of the people I follow and who follow me.
