@funkytwig TheForkiverse is on the Mastodon platform, which is supported by many apps.
However, the platform is open source, and the apps are all indie, so you’re not enthralled to some douchebag tech a-hole.
I’m using Ice Cubes on iOS, but there are many others, you can sample them to find one you like.
(Note: The “official” Mastodon app is pretty minimal, it’s more of a proof of concept, don’t bother with it)

I do also use https://tusky.app to help me manage multiple accounts, but the official app looks nice, and I like the simplicity of it. (Most of the time.)
@stefan @funkytwig I could be out of line regarding the official Mastodon app. I guess the last time I checked it out was two years ago. Surely it has improved by some degree since then.
@GrantB Oh yeah, it certainly has improved, definitely worth taking a (second) look!
