#Google is rolling out AI features (that supposedly can be disabled) to #Gmail that will "scour" (their word!) all your email. Don't just say no, say HELL NO!

@lauren they already use something to 'read' email there. That's why I use it for junk and enforced sign ups.
The real issue is if you ever email anyone who uses Gmail your email will get scanned too.

It's sad. I was an early adopter back when you needed an invite. When it was cool and exciting

@Anoia Well, essentially everyone reads email for spam/malware detection. But that's very focused, and very different from what Gemini does.
