Hard to shut it down effectively, but be all means try. However, maybe mandate that any company advertising or holding an account on a platform that is in violation of UK laws is ineligable to bid on government contracts or recieve any government assistance in terms of tax breaks etc.
If we could do that and coordinate with the EU that might start a bit of a exodus.
@Tallish_Tom @samiamsam advertising on twitter is now equivalent to advertising on a child pornography site. Once the uk gov makes that clear, people will stop instantly.
Agreed, I just wish they would get on with it. Surely even the Torygraph and the Daily Excess would have to get behind that?
