Tekendra Parmar writes about a fake reddit post that went viral, on how DoorDash treats its drivers. I said that I'd have believed the post cause it's close to how companies treat gig workers, like machines controlled through opaque algorithms.

Amazon, of course tried to discredit our work, but when Tekendra asked them what "complete data" would look like, as they said our research was based on "incomplete data", "the spokesperson did not respond to my follow-up on what Amazon considered complete data."
