I think there’s a term for the concept of young people who want to #retire as soon as possible… and who work toward that financially and in terms of hours worked.

Céline Dion already said it in 1993, research had already shown it, and a billionaire who did something with computers said it again recently: Better think twice…

@wlaatje I read this as another argument against "if we roll out UBI, people are just going to lie in bed all day".

I think about it the same way…. I read it as: make sure people are able to contribute in an intrinsically motivated way to something they themselves see as meaningful and valuable… in my romantic view, it would make “bullshit jobs” disappear.
