I mean what do you mean by "democracy?"

I'm an anarcho-syndicalist; I think people should be allowed to vote on everything. I don't think labor class people can trust any authority whatsoever that isn't literally labor class people, working together.

So when you say I don't support democracy, it's funny, because I think the same about you - someone seemingly quite find pretending your leaders represent your interests in a rigged oligarchy with the barest pretense of democratic forms.

@AnarchoNinaWrites “labor class people can trust any authority whatsoever that isn't literally labor class people, working together” — so you mean the CCP who started out as leading a workers' revolution. All geo politics democratic or communism has its flaws it’s about whose place is better and the best for you and your family.

@AnarchoNinaWrites I’m not advocating for communism I’m stating a fact both are flawed you should go be in a country that fits you, and your family best. Andrew Bustamante’s analogy of the shed is a great example.

Why is it that people must adhere to insults instead of having intellectual conversation?

@AnarchoNinaWrites actually no I don’t I don’t go reading posts and looking to start flame wars on social media. Now I am going to stop replying to your posts for two reasons and not because you “told me to” because you don’t get to dictate my behaviour.

1. CoC of the instance.
2. There is nothing more of value to add to this conversation you clearly don’t want to have an intellectual discussion without throwing around insults.

@justincrozer I need you to understand that after the first one, I haven't read even a single one of your toots. I'm telling you to fuck off. I don't want to talk to you. I'm not interested. And at some point you refusing to take that hint, is gonna be harassment. So why don't you make like a tree and... literally go the fuck away.

@AnarchoNinaWrites I've sometimes heard people say that if we had to vote about everything, we'd be overwhelmed and we'd make a lot of wrong decisions because of that.

And, I mean, take a look at the state of the world right now, even if they were right, we, collectively, couldn't do it worse than this, not even close.

@nasd1066 Yeah. Doesn't get much worse than "planet is on fire, billionaire cultists own everything, we are surrounded by nazis."

I guarantee you we could pick our leaders out of a phone book and beat that. So I'm not worried about "the madness of crowds" tearing society apart.

@AnarchoNinaWrites
A "democracy" where when the Constitution was signed (We The People) black people were still considered property?

@clintruin Right? I mean look my post is about how liberal capitalist societies and their representative democracies are not in fact, democratic and anarcho-syndicalists have a much broader understanding of what a democracy and democratic rights means.

But - even within the CONTEXT of a capitalist liberal "representative democracy" America fails that test too. Badly. Because it's a white supremacist oligarchy from the beginning and was never designed to be anything other.

@clintruin The Founding Fathers are, quite literally, America's first oligarchs. Most of them anyway.
