As my Dutch improves, I find I often have to hunt for the right word when speaking, even in English. This results in me sometimes getting a word mixed up such as calling the fridge the cold oven (in Dutch the literal translation would be cold cupboard - koelkast). Well now I have a new one to add to the list of worm puddlings.

I just called doing the dishes "dish laundry".
