I built this clothes rail that can be clipped outside on #Ikea #Pax sliding doors, so I have a place to hang fresh clothes while I‘m sorting what‘s inside the wardrobe. As it turns out it fails after being fully loaded for a few weeks (as in „after being used as an extension of the wardrobe with a massive load“).
This is a good thing™️ because it failed before the sliding door hardware failed.
Something always will give in the end, it‘s good if that‘s a part that can be fixed easily.

Photo of a full 3D-printed white bracket and a small part of another bracket laying flat on the top of each other on a black desk.
Both are still on the rail they are supposed to hold, which is to the left. The small bracket is very obviously shattered, the large is beginning to delaminate on the right, where it was clipped to the door of the wardrobe.
