Is there a way to view #Gopher on Android using #OpenSource?
The only client I can fond on F-Droid was last updated 7 years ago 🫠

Turns out the answer was, as always, Lynx!
In Termux running `lynx gopher://whatever` works pretty well and doesn't rely on ancient APKs.
@Edent
thanks for the hint: Works perfect!
Btw.: there is still one german newspaper running a gopher server 😄 @tazgetroete
@Edent You can use Lagrange for Gopher navigation. The app can be used for the Gemini protocol as well.
@b34n5 I can't find an Android version of that - can you share a link, please?
@Edent You need to add the repository to F-Droid. Here's the link: https://skyjake.github.io/fdroid/repo/
@Edent gophercle is the only one I found, but last update was 3 years ago
Overbite still works fine although as I understand things the Android branch is no longer being updated.
There are also proxy services allowing one to view gopher from a Web browser such as the one found Floodgap https://gopher.floodgap.com/gopher/gw?gopher://gopher.floodgap.com:70/1/
@Edent Doesn't seem like it, my search a few months ago came up similarly empty.
