Here's another older one, while we wait on a new one.
It's in my top 10 silent films, and probably at least in my top 20 films of all time.
The Flying Ace is a silent film from the 20s about a WWI pilot who returns home to Florida to work a job as a detective for the Railroad.
The payroll fund is stolen, and a pretty standard whodunit ensues. Then, at the point where most films of the era would have wrapped the whole thing up with a couple of title cards explaining whodunit, this film kicks it into high gear and turns into an absolutely *wild* action flick with some twists and turns and gags that I absolutely love.
It's a treat, and you should find time to watch it.
