I admit it's been some time since I thought about #Drupal, but I was alarmed to find out today that the Book Module was deprecated over a year ago. Such a useful, user-friendly way to build book-type content! I wonder what people use now? Is it as easy?

Still using the book module. The deprecation means, it will be removed from core and continues to exist as a config module. That makes sense because very free people are using it, and nobody maintained it in core. Now, standing on its own feet it will move much faster, and you can already see that in the project repository.

@Matt_Noyes @jurgenhaas I love the Book module. I'd love to see more websites organize their content in that way.

It's cool seeing a former core module thriving as a contributed module.

If you love something, set it free. ablobcatpaw
