To me, that sounds like one of the usual actions of your democratically legitimised president. What did you expect? Why should he behave differently in private than he does in his role as President of the United States? He blackmails, coerces, abuses his power, and is even confirmed and celebrated for it by his people. And the rest of us bow our heads and feel too weak to react confidently.
@randahl this is the reason Trump was so nice to Mamdani when he visited. He knows Mamdani could cause a lot of trouble for Trump, as a lot of the Trump family real estate holdings are in New York.
