Naushaba Roonjho from Pakistan wanted to study past high school. Simple, right?
Not in her village. Her parents cut her off for 2 years for wanting to learn and work outside the home. The community mocked her and her husband daily.
But she held her ground. Her husband stood with her. They left their home to build their own life.
All she asked for was education and respect. Is that too much to ask?
Today, she runs for office, and the girls in her village are now going to school because she chose her own code.
