Met a young man in full drag at an #NYE party last night. At various points in the evening I saw him posing and admiring his reflection and twirling to make his skirt flare. When I asked his pronouns he assured me, “Oh he/him. I’m just cross dressing for now.”
The “for now” seemed to slip out because he immediately hopped off the couch we were sitting on and fled into the kitchen.
Chat, it took everything in me to handle that egg with kid gloves for the rest of the night. I hope 2026 is kind to him.
